I just mailed the following letter directly to the White House, addressed to Trump. I sent it not as a stunt, but as a moral obligation — a refusal to be silent while harm is being done to the people and values I care about. This letter speaks from a place of righteous anger, heartbreak, and resolve. I’m sharing it here because I know I’m not alone — and I want others to know they’re not either.

Mr. Trump,

You have spent years tearing this country apart — not through accident, but through deliberate, calculated malice. And when it wasn’t malice, it was appalling, arrogant ignorance. The result? A nation bruised, divided, and pushed to the brink of collapse.

You targeted transgender Americans with relentless cruelty. You banned them from military service. You gutted healthcare protections. You lied about gender-affirming care — not out of concern, but to stoke fear and hatred for political gain. You didn’t just legislate discrimination — you encouraged it from the highest office in the land.

Your executive orders reflected a vendetta, not a vision. You used them to slam doors shut — on immigrants, on Muslims, on environmental safeguards, on basic civil rights. You wielded executive power like a bludgeon. The damage wasn’t accidental. It was methodical.

You polluted the planet — gleefully. You withdrew from the Paris Agreement. You stripped clean air and water protections. You empowered fossil fuel billionaires while silencing scientists and environmental watchdogs. You sold out the Earth’s future for applause.

Your economic policies reeked of chaos. Tariffs that harmed farmers. Trade wars you never understood. Bailouts for corporations while working families struggled. You played strongman on the global stage while Americans footed the bill.

And the people you’ve empowered now — Mike Johnson, Kristi Noem, and others — are no better. They are either laughably unqualified or openly cruel. Johnson parades as a Christian leader while undermining human rights and democratic institutions. Noem brags about shooting her own dog while pushing extremist policies. These are the people you’ve chosen to elevate — not despite their ignorance or viciousness, but because of it.

I want to be absolutely clear:

This is not a threat.

This is a promise.

I will speak out.

I will protest.

I will support others who resist.

I will vote.

I will campaign.

I will use every tool I have — voice, art, heart, and fire — to make sure you never get your hands on power again.

Millions of us are watching. We’re wide awake. And we’re done being silent.
