Vassar Student Fundraises for The Trevor Project; Soars Past Goal AND Past Westboro Baptist Church’s Hate

In a counter-protest to the Westboro Baptist Church’s plans to picket Vassar College on February 28th, Josh de Leeuw has started a crowd-raising campaign with a goal of donating $4,500 to The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.

Already the campaign has raised $24,404 (542% of their $4,500 goal) for The Trevor Project.
