I saw this floating around Facebook and enjoyed it too much not to share it as well. There is a sad debate on the One Million Vaginas Facebook page where I found the image.

While there are many people commenting in support of the LGBT community and universal equality, there are some really upsetting words being thrown out by people who, dare I say, have no idea what they are talking about. It is this rhetoric that is causing so much hurt in our country and it has to stop.

I don’t even know what to say to you Brennen. You are disgusting for suggesting that there is ANY correlation between marriage equality and pedophilia. I suggest you do some research. Here, I’ll get you started.

Yes Elyse, you have freedom of thought. What you don’t have is freedom to force your thoughts into law against others simply because you don’t like who they are or who they love.

I would like for you, John, to show me evidence that “we all want our kids to grow up being straight”.  My mother would disagree.  She was perfectly happy for me to be who I am as long as I was happy… which I am.  Also, you don’t have to accept homosexuality as anything… much less normal.  I, for one, don’t care what you do or do not accept.  I don’t accept that you do not proofread your Facebook comments… but that doesn’t change the fact that they exist.  By the way, “thereis” and “howcome” are not words. Also, it is spelled “lifestyle,” although being a homosexual is not a lifestyle. Living on a houseboat is a lifestyle. Being an eccentric painter or a square dancing enthusiast is a lifestyle. Being a homosexual is, in many cases, stylish… but not a lifestyle.
