The Sixth Annual Broadway Beauty Pageant – Meet the Boys!

The Sixth Annual Broadway Beauty Pageant will take place on Monday, March 19, 2012 at 8PM at Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th Street, NYC). If you’ve never been, GO. If you’ve been, GO AGAIN! It’s an incredible night filled with stellar performances and stunning physiques. And, by attending, you are helping out the Ali Forney Center whose mission is to protect LGBTQ youth from the harm of homelessness, and to support them in becoming safe and independent as they move from adolescence to adulthood.

Four-time Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh (Golda’s Balcony, Lend Me a Tenor, Sarava, Yentl) will host the event which is directed by Ryan J. Davis, written and conceived by Jeffery Self, and musical direction is by Christopher Denny.

Contestants in this year’s pageant include Andrew Chappelle (Mamma Mia!), Wilkie Ferguson (Porgy and Bess), Corey Mach (Godspell), Jesse Swimm (Mary Poppins) and Anthony Wayne (Priscilla Queen of the Desert).

Brent Barrett (Chicago) and past Pageant winners Frankie James Grande (Mamma Mia!) and Michael Cusumano (Chicago) are set to perform.

I’m Tommy, a writer and storyteller who works in marketing for the arts and cultural communities.
