Premiering in New Orleans in April… “The Clifton Monroe Chronicles”

Exciting news… a show that I co-created is premiering in New Orleans in April!!

While I know many of you won’t be able to attend the premiere, I’m hoping you will support the project through our Kickstarter campaign. Our goal is $2000 but ANY pledge you can make will truly help. ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The Clifton Monroe Chronicles follows the adventures of ace reporter, Clifton Monroe and his quirky sidekick Mattie as they scour the streets of New Orleans solving the biggest mysteries in the name of truth, justice and a “killer” headline. The show is performed live, in the style of “old time” radio dramas of the 1930s and 40s. The small ensemble creates a menagerie of characters in each serial.

Episode 1: The Case of the Scarlet G will premiere in April 2012 at the Shadowbox Theatre (2400 St. Claude Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70117). This first episode of the serial drama/comedy follows Clifton and Mattie as they try to solve the mystery of the Scarlet G, a sinister blackmailer who holds the key to a family’s dark and deadly past.

I’m Tommy, a writer and storyteller who works in marketing for the arts and cultural communities. I’m the author of Mabel Stanley and the Town That Was Built All Wrong, a fun and heartfelt book, and I’m currently working on a novel about self-discovery and the complexities of memory.
