I had the pleasure of seeing Elizabeth Warren speak about her concerns for the middle class when I attended a taping of The Daily Show on Tuesday. (Watch the extended interview here.) She was charismatic, smart and so well researched in her concerns that the audience rose to their feet in thunderous applause multiple times during the segment.
Now she offers us an It Gets Better video, sharing her concerns for the LGBT community and the intensely difficult road many of us travel in our youth.
I applaud her compassion and drive. This is a woman to watch is the coming years and don’t be surprised if she appears on the Democratic ballot in 2016. I would whole-heartedly support her in any political endeavor she chose.
Please see her own words after the video and follow the links provided if you want to learn more about her intentions and beliefs.
From Elizabeth Warren (edited slightly as this was an email sent to me):
Thanks so much for joining my campaign for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts! I’m
glad you’re standing with me in this critical fight for middle class
families.I’ve fought all my life for working families, and I’ve stood up to some
pretty powerful interests. Now those interests are sure to line up against
our campaign — and that’s why I’m asking you to help me build the
grassroots support we need to beat them.If you haven’t already, please help me spread the word about our campaign:
