Not only is this man unfit to lead the United States but his followers, at least those behind the Twitter account @caincan2012 are also ridiculous. I shared a link to the Ben Armbruster’s Think Progress story Cain: It’s Not ‘Practical’ To Attack Iran Because It Has Mountains with the following comment via Twitter:
https://twitter.com/#!/wthomasadkins/status/136957208675102720
They replied:
https://twitter.com/#!/caincan2012/status/136957711622488065
I felt it necessary to respond:
https://twitter.com/#!/wthomasadkins/status/136958838749405184
To which they countered:
https://twitter.com/#!/caincan2012/status/136959340589481984
Appreciative of their inquiry, I rebutted:
https://twitter.com/#!/wthomasadkins/status/136959642793291777
They came back with a childish jab:
https://twitter.com/#!/caincan2012/status/136960181270622208
To which I happily replied:
https://twitter.com/#!/wthomasadkins/status/136961224557596672
And provided a link to the now infamous video of Mr. Cain, very clearly “in over his head” (see below). People, are we really at the point where a person of limited qualifications and lack of sense like Herman Cain can actually be in the running for the President of the United States? Granted, I’m all for the ideal that, in America, “anyone can grow up and be President”. I just hope that “anyone” has built up the credentials, skills and intelligence necessary for the job before taking the national stage.
I recommend reading Jonathan Capehart’s take on the disastrous Cain campaign over at the Washington Post. Enjoy!
