How my old Nintendo games will support “It Gets Better”

I recently found a collection of well-preserved Nintendo games when cleaning out some old boxes. Truthfully I have been watching Hoarders and felt compelled to avoid any chance of future trashiness by going through my closet and getting a late start on some Spring cleaning.

So… I found twenty-four games that I haven’t played in years and decided it was time to “put away childish things.”

I haven’t been on eBay in YEARS but I decided to see if the games were worth anything anymore and, unless they are factory sealed in original cellophane and have never been touched, they aren’t. But they do seem to sell for a few dollars and I figured it can’t hurt to try to send these off to a new home where they will be cherished for another twenty-five years.

So, here they are in their eBay splendor.

What I didn’t know until today is that eBay will let you donate a portion of a sale to a charity of your choosing. I decided that I wanted to help out and chose the It Get Better Project as my charity of choice.
